Our Story

We are 3 friends that came together with a shared passion for good food and drink and searched for a venue where we could provide this. We thought Broughton Street was an excellent choice for a bar.  After much deliberation we decided to call it The Ox because for us it says simple, straightforward and honest - everything we feel a great pub should be. Our menu reflects this ethos and offers something different whilst fitting in perfectly to the already vibrant Broughton Street dining scene. We are child friendy until 10pm and we also welcome your well behaved dogs with a pat on the head, a water bowl and some dog biscuits. Joe, Chris and Jo
